Conversation Cards About Racism, privilege, intersectionality, and change

The Let’s Talk Race conversation cards support action by prompting discussions about racism, privilege, intersectionality, and change. The cards are designed for people of all races, genders, ages, abilities, and class backgrounds. They are intended to grow our communities’ comfort and ease having conversations about race while emphasizing empathy over sympathy, as an educational resource made for Vermont.

The Let’s Talk Race collaboration was launched by Christopher Gaynor who- inspired by Change the Story’s Let’s Talk Gender cards- was interested in creating a tool to help Vermonters get talking about race, power and privilege. The Let’s Talk Race is a collaborative effort by ACLU Vermont, Change the Story, Peace and Justice Center, Showing up for Racial Justice, Vermont Human Rights Commission, and the Vermont Network.
